Benllech beach
Benllech beach is located on the eastern side of Anglesey and is one of those classic family beaches. Benllech beach is one of Anglesey’s top sandy beaches.
A long beach with soft golden sand, where kids can play safely in the sand and build sand castles to their hearts content. Benllech beach has its own promenade with the old fashioned blue railings.
Beach Walking on Benllech Beach
Benllech beach is one of those amazing sandy beaches that is both beautiful in summer and winter. If you enjoy beach walking then you will be in heaven here!
It is possible to walk from Benllech along past St. David’s beach round the corner and across Red Wharf bay and onto LLanddona beach and back.
Dog friendly
Benllech beach is one of seven Anglesey beaches subject to dog restrictions. These restrictions apply 1st May to 30th September each year.
At Benllech, Cemaes Bay and Trearddur Bay dogs must be kept on their leads on the promenades.
