St. David's beach Red Wharf Bay
This beautiful sandy beach is named after the St. David’s caravan park adjacent to it. This beach is almost an extension of Benllech beach. When you come on to Benllech beach and walk to the right, and then keep walking to the end you come across one of Anglesey’s beautiful sandy beaches with a lovely backdrop of green trees, then you have the headland of Red Wharf Bay.
Like its sister beach, Benllech the water quality here is excellent, a lovely flat sandy beach with seriously clear water and very clean sand. Access to St. David’s beach is from the Benllech end of the beach, except if you are a resident at St. David’s holiday park.
tavern on the bay - great views and delicious food.
The Tavern on the bay is situated just behind this beach, not only does it serve fantastic food it has amazing views whilst you eat. Situated in an elevated position, two of the sides of this restaurant are floor to ceiling glass, allowing spectacular views towards Moelfre, then round to the beautiful range of Snowdonia.
